Important Milestones
Important milestones in the company history of CONTENS:
- 2023: The state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate is converting its website to CONTENS with comprehensive information about representatives, committees and appointments.
- 2022: The Würth Elektronik Group of Companies launches its new corporate website with CONTENS.
- 2021: For the first time, our CMS is used as an agency solution for the administration of over 100 medium-sized websites in a joint installation.
- 2020: The corona pandemic shows us that we can also work very well together from our home offices. We also provide different Docker configurations for the CMS
- 2019: CONTENS exhibits for the first time at the CMCX trade show; for radio NRW we design and implement a newsroom for 38 local radios. And we celebrate the 20-year company anniversary
- 2018: Presentation of the CONTENS Newsroom
- 2017: Launch of CONTENS 5; new customers like Best Western Hotels Central Europe.
- 2016: Largest project in the company history (development time almost 2 years) very successfully launched; New benefits for employees: kicker, free drinks, as well as fruit and snacks.
- 2015: new customer RTL Group Luxembourg launches on CONTENS; expension of the office spaces in Neumarkter Strasse
- 2014: CONTENS celebrates 15-year company anniversary; Relaunch of the website goethe.de on CONTENS; CONTENS starts training for apprentices (IT specialist for application development)
- 2013: Launch of the German-speaking community "Deutsch für Dich" at the Goethe-Institut; New customer: Toyota Insurance Management
- 2012: Presentation of the social workplace based on CONTENS; New customer: Allianz
- 2011: Presentation of CONTENS 4 at CeBIT
- 2010: Moving to larger and more modern office space; Introduction of the Core and Professional Services units; RTL.de relaunch with CONTENS ; new CONTENS logo
- 2009: CONTENS celebrates 10 years company anniversary
- 2008: First community based on CONTENS launched; New customers: McDonald's Germany, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts
- 2007: Launch of the social software solution CONTENS relate; CONTENS wins RTL as a customer
- 2006: Presentation of the completely newly developed version CONTENS 3
- 2005: Idea for the development of a social network technology
- 2004: CONTENS celebrates 5-year company anniversary; New customers: Max Planck, John Deere, Concordia Insurance Group
- 2003: Launch of the entry-level version CONTENS compact; moving to new office next to the English Garden
- 2002: Development of CONTENS 2, for the first time exhibitors at CeBIT, start of the CONTENS partner network
- 2001: First customer in Switzerland, move to larger office spaces
- 2000: First customers: Discovery Channel, Lufthansa Globeground, ndF
